Phase 3: Faculty Collaborations

Teachers at Drug, Drug Targets and You

The MSOE Center for BioMolecular Modeling will be hosting a CREST Summer Faculty Workgroup Meeting in Milwaukee on May 21-24, 2018. The workgroup meeting will begin around noon on Monday and conclude around noon on Thursday to allow participants to travel on these two days.

The goal of the gathering is to bring together a group of undergraduate molecular biosciences faculty to collaborate on developing student-centered, interactive instructional materials. We have found that a few days away from the normal routine, surrounded by like-minded folks, does wonders to stimulate the creative juices!

Located six blocks from Lake Michigan in the heart of Milwaukee’s theater district, the CBM is a creative workspace with access to a variety of 3D printers, laser cutters and CBM staff who can help you develop your ideas.

The focus of this year’s CREST project is O-GlcNAcylation, but if you have other topics you are interested in pursuing, share your ideas in your application!

There are a limited number of awards for travel and housing; if you have alternate sources of funding we encourage you to use them to allow a larger number of people to attend the meeting.

Applications are due by March 15.

We hope you will consider coming to “play” with us this summer!
